Most of the songs were written in 2000/2001, but Passing Jupiter is the only track recorded in that time period. This is my first recorded album of music that i completed entirely by myself. Most of the hooks in the tracks were just a guitar line back then. Everything came together in the summer of 2008 when i first started looking for drum beats on my Casio keyboard that i could play to. I recorded most of the songs in about a 2 month period, but i didn't stop recording until i had almost 4 albums worth of material to mix. After a long trip to Korea to get married and to Hawaii for honeymoon, i buckled down and came up with my formula for mixing my music that pulled everything together. A few extra guitar and piano parts rounded everything off. I wasn't entirely happy with the first album but i figured i had so much more music to mix that eventually i would redeem myself. This album is my roots, that have evolved all the music that came after.
